Building a Strong Financial Future for Our Schools

A well-funded school district is essential to providing students with the education they deserve. I will prioritize responsible budgeting to ensure taxpayer dollars directly support students, teachers, and classrooms. This means advocating for fair state funding, ensuring financial transparency, and making strategic investments that enhance learning while keeping class sizes manageable. I will work to secure grants, build community partnerships, and develop long-term financial solutions that strengthen our schools without overburdening families. A strong financial foundation sustains quality education, retains excellent teachers, and creates opportunities for every student.

Safe Schools for Every Student

When speaking with our community’s youth, two concerns stand out: bullying and safety. As a school board member, I will push for stronger anti-bullying policies, increased mental health support, and a school culture that prioritizes representation. Every student—regardless of gender identity, ability, or background—deserves a safe, inclusive learning environment. I will support staff training in trauma-informed practices and gender-inclusive policies that foster a culture of respect. When students feel safe and supported, they can focus on learning, growing, and reaching their full potential.
